Your wearable, explained with context

VitaZAlert reads Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect streams, learns your personal baseline, and notifies you and the contacts you choose when documented rules suggest something may need attention.

From install to active monitoring

The product flow starts in the app: account creation, device permissions, caregiver setup, then a calibration window before any outbound alerts fire.

01

Connect your device

On iOS, grant HealthKit access for heart rate, HRV, sleep, and—where available—ECG and AFib notifications. On Android, connect via Health Connect for Samsung, Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop, and compatible wearables.

02

Add caregivers

Store trusted contacts with mobile numbers and email. Free tier includes one caregiver; premium expands to unlimited contacts for broader coverage.

03

Calibration period

At least seven days of data establish rolling baselines for resting HR, HRV, and sleep-stage behaviour. During calibration you are kept informed; no preventive alerts are dispatched yet.

04

Monitoring active

Once baselines stabilise, Priority 1 signals trigger immediate multi-channel delivery; Priority 2 signals require confirmation and batching rules to protect caregivers from fatigue.

How you and caregivers get notified

Push notifications lead, followed by SMS and email fallbacks with staggered timers. Premium members can receive automated voice calls for Priority 1 events when push and SMS do not acknowledge delivery.

Every channel repeats the same non-diagnostic disclaimer: VitaZAlert highlights risk signals for timely preventive action—it does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
